Hyundai Motor Company is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Founded in 1967, it is known for producing a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, SUVs, and electric vehicles. In 2021, the company reported revenues of 105.4 trillion South Korean won (approximately $88.5 billion) and an operating profit of 6.6 trillion won. Hyundai owns a 33.88% stake in Kia Corporation and fully owns the brands Genesis and Ioniq, focusing on luxury and electric vehicles, respectively. The company operates the world's second-largest automobile manufacturing facility in Ulsan, South Korea, with an annual capacity of 1.6 million units.
