Your thoughts on Spotify $SPOT? The stock has seen a lot of nice upside recently, but it stalled a bit a few days back and a correction came.
The stock is still trading for less than its IPO in 2018 and overall I like the company and like it, but should I buy at current prices? I don't know. What I also fear is $AAPL and its Apple music, the competitor is very strong. What are your views on this company and what about the price, is it a BUY?

For me it's a great company, I've been using Spotify for too many years... but it seems to me that there's a lot of competition, like you mentioned Apple but also Youtube and at the moment they have nowhere to scale... yes, they'll probably grow slowly but I wouldn't expect anything rocketing...

I'm not going to give you much of a constructive opinion, just more of a gut feeling. I use the app a lot, but I wouldn't put it in my portfolio for the long term either, or if I did, it would be at a very different price. It has enough competition as others write here. There's enough of that music, podcast, just content they do everywhere nowadays. The more I've had and will rank again when the overall market slump stops is $DUOL, also a apka I use and there I think it doesn't have that much competition and thanks to the AI implementation and playful form of learning it keeps growing users. 😊
So this is the first I've heard of this event, I'll check it out, it looks interesting. :)
